The training is designed to provide a fundamental grounding in the processing of corporate actions and income events. The topic of corporate actions has been increasingly focusing the attention, due to issues surrounding error costs, risk and control in their processing.

Successful processing of corporate actions within an organization requires knowledgeable staff who understands the component parts that lead to safe and secure processing of events, and an awareness of the pitfalls that can result in losses.
The Fundamentals of Corporate Actions training is designed to provide a fundamental grounding in the processing of corporate actions and income events.

- Understanding of the main corporate actions operational flow
- Appreciation of the importance of each step in the operational flow
- Carry out meaningful dialogue on key business topics
- Appreciation of the many practical difficulties, challenges and risks
Programme Director is Michael Simmons:
During his Investment Banking career Michael Simmons gained hands-on experience of day-to-day management responsibility for many operational areas. About 10 years ago Michael started to specialise in delivering trainings and has run courses in the UK, US, Japan, India, Dubai and the Netherlands.
He is also trainer for Operations Certificate Programme seminar organized by ISMA. Michael Simmons is author of the books "Securities Operations, a Guide to Trade and Position Management", and "Corporate Actions; a Guide to Securities Event Management".
Training fee:
The standard fee for this training is EUR 1.850,- (excl. VAT) per participant for the three day course.
Early booking discount: bookings received before Februari 17th will receive a 10% discount on the training fee.
