This is a lively and interactive two days programme which is designed to help Middle and Back office staff as well as other support staff such as IT, Financial Division, Audit, HR etc to:
- Understand in detail the Basic Products supported (excluding Derivatives)
- Understanding the environment supporting each of these products both Internally within the Organisation and the External Participants in these various Markets
- Understand the VITAL roles played by the Middle and Back Office in the Securities and Cash Markets
- Understand where each of the functions performed by these groups fits into the Life Cycle of a Transaction
- Understand not just the roles and tasks of the Middle and Back office and other support functions but why they are VITAL to the business
- Understand the impact upon their organisations of having poor processes, systems and people within the Middle and Back office and other support areas.
- Instil a questioning mindset in order to improve:
- Controls
- Efficiency
- Reduce Costs
This session will look at the basic Products and the marktes in which they are traded. The history of the products and how they work will be explained.
