| For a large investment bank we're looking for an Experienced Business
Consultant. The Business Consultant is required to work on a full risk management program: systems renewal / rationalization. You will work as a business consultant between the business and IT, which will put the new system solution for market and credit risk into place, including limit management, VAR reporting, regulatory reporting, counterparty and instrument static data management, reconciliations and interfaces to downstream systems. Qualifications Strong financial markets / investment banking experience with excellent understanding of the Risk components (e.g. Market & Credit Risk, Basel II). Profound knowledge of risk management business needs, credit and market risk calculation methodologies, risk business processes, data quality issues, risk data warehouses and reporting. Proven consulting skills and experience that tasks can be delegated to you with confidence. Organizational sensitivity. Accomplished in defining target solutions, understanding a risk system environment, critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, refining and structuring what is needed, share with stakeholders and get approval. Does not get lost in the details. Getting people together, make them share information and possessing good writing skills (memo’s – to the point). Role Your role will include the following tasks: Will pro-actively identify the risk management business needs. Will conduct interviews and workshops in order to identify, capture and refine target solutions. Will manage the review and approval process. Will team-up with Risk specialists, Business Architects and System Analysts to determine the functional specifications of the systems and the interfaces. Will help the Program Manager in defining the Program Breakdown Structure and Deliverables. Projects in scope
