Within the department Derivates we are searching for an employee who has just finalized an HBO/WO education. 

In the function of Officer Derivatives, you will be responsible for the correct, complete and timely processing and administration of the trades. Trades vary from plain to more complex trades, non STP, trades with special requirements relating to Interest Rate, Credit, to Equity & FX Derivative products. 

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Process and settle trades from the Front Office systems for Interest Rate, Credit, 
  Equity & FX Derivatives; 
• Enhancement and authorization of the trades and manual processing of more
  complex transactions; 
• Research and resolve financial and positional breaks; 
• Ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to

ORGANISATION

Financial Markets is part of the division Ops&IT Banking. 
The Global Processing Centre Financial Markets (GPC FM / back-office) is responsible for the processing of all trades concluded in several Front Office locations of our client in the Financial Markets area. This results that the activities are performed in a turbulent and international environment where changes in the form of new processes and products are following up in quick succession. 

As a consequence of the Global processing model where several locations are serviced in different time zones GPC is operating from 6.00 AM to 24.00 PM. 

The product scope comprises of a large range of Securities (bonds, equities and repo’s), Foreign exchange, Money Markets products and Derivatives products in the range from plain vanilla products to complex specials and structured products. GPC is responsible for the full processing of the concluded trades with main tasks of trade recording, authorization, confirmation and settlement of the trades.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• a just graduated HBO or WO student; 
• a pro-active and motivated person with drive; 
• willing to learn and able to comprise large quantities of information; 
• immune to stress and prepared to also work in evening shifts 
• willing to follow additional courses to be more qualified for the job; 
• goal orientated; 
• a team player. 

You have: 
• good knowledge verbally and written of the English language; 
• fluency in Dutch is a must
• excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); 
• demonstrable affection with the Derivatives world. This would serve as a preference; 
• high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
