Important topics and discussions in this Workshop are exchange traded securities and derivatives and of course the Transaction Lifecycle. This all starts with a trade on one of the NYSE. Euronext trading platforms. When the trade is closed, the trade has to be cleared and settled, which involves LCH.Clearnet, Euroclear en Target2, together with the connected custodians. Besides being a clearing member, custodians have several other tasks like managing corporate actions. We also take attention of other exchanges an marketplaces competing with NYSE Euronext.

Lecturer
Sebastiaan has a degree in Economics and the 1st degree in lesson Competence. During his study he worked voor Nibe-SVV and was also responsible for the training “Options and Futures” and “Introduction of the Securities Industry”. As a teacher, Sebastiaan organizes courses about the securities industry for, among others, the Dutch central bank (DNB), Kasbank, ABN-AMRO and ABN-AMRO Clearing, Rabobank International and Orbay.
